The
G-Shorts Student Film Competition World Premiere is January 30, 2015. The price
of tickets is $5 for students and $10 for teachers. Please purchase your
tickets now and help support the young film makers at G-Star. Mark your
calendar for this great event which will be held on January 30th,
2015 at 7:00 P.M. The location will be the G-Star Sound Stage. Business attire
is suggested. We hope to see you there.
Do
you like to write? Do you enjoy storytelling? Do you want to get involved with
G-Star’s annual student film, but don’t know how? Well you are in luck! The
K-Building teachers are calling for Treatments for next year’s student film.
Submit a 1 to 2 page Treatment to any of the K-Building Teachers by Monday,
January 28th. If you are unsure on how to write a treatment, but
have a great concept or idea, now worries! You can still pass those ideas and
concepts to your friendly K-building Teacher. Script Development will begin in
February and run through May. Above-the-line positions will be interviewed and
hired by the end of this school year for an early start of Production! Think
storytelling! If you have any questions you are encouraged to ask your friendly
K-Building teacher.
· Club Meeting
On
Tuesday, January 20th there will be a meeting for Garden Adventure
and Music Clubs during the first half of lunch for planning in room J-203. If
