ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 20, 2015

 

·         Algebra I EOC Clinic: On Saturday, April 25^th, G-Star will be having our clinic for tutoring to help students prepare for the Algebra I EOC. We will also be having a practice test for AP World and IB Bio. All clinics are from 9-12 in the J Building for Algebra I and IB Bio and in A building for AP World. Snacks and extra credits will be provided to all of those students who attend.

 

·         Senior T-Shirts: Attention seniors: If you have paid your senior dues, your senior t-shirts are in! T-shirts will be distributed the beginning of next week from 11:00 – 11:30. Please see Ms. Miller in the front office during this time only. If you have not paid your senior dues already, please see Mr. Gurevitz in room J-212.

 

·         Theatre 101: Theatre 101 is just around the corner. Come out and support your fellow Thespians in student written and directed monologues, scenes, and musicals. Tickets are only $5 and you can use it for your 4^th nine week play review. Buy your tickets in H-building before or after school or during the first half of lunch. We hope to see you there.

 

·         G-Star Prom 2015: This is a Prom announcement for 9^th and 10^th graders only. This is your chance to get the high school prom experience early. Come see Coach Teper in building I, at lunch for more detailed information.

 

·         Prom Dress Code:

            Girls: Full dress (no two piece dresses), no plunging necklines, no open sides       (no skin showing), back can be open to the top of the waist, must be at least to         the knee, strapless is o.k., spaghetti straps are o.k., slit on side up the knee.

            Boys: Suits, tuxes, dress shoes, ties, no sneakers, no jeans and no t-shirts.

 

·         Photoshop Club: Photoshop Club meets during the first half of lunch and after school until 4:00. Photoshop meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If you think you are ready for the certification test, please contact Mr. McClory in room K-104.

 

·         Course Selection Sheets: Attention all G-Star students 9^th through 11^th grade. Course selection sheets are available through your English teachers. Please review them carefully and discuss your selections with your teachers, counselors and family prior to submitting. The deadline for all course selection sheets is May 28^th to ensure that your selections can be honored.
