Representative Dave Kerner to teach class at G-Star School of the Arts!

G-Star School of the Arts teacher Laura Salustri is pleased to announce the visit of State Legislator Dave Kerner who represents our own Palm Springs District 87. Mr. Kerner will visit the G-Star campus on Friday, November 21, 2014 to meet and explain the roles of local government to G-Star students. Mrs. Salustri, who teaches American Government, has arranged this visit to coincide with the curriculum and give our students a first hand experience to learn from and question our elected officials. Mr. Kerner will speak to the students regarding relevant local issues that the students are interested in. The students are excited about the visit and cannot wait to meet Mr. Kerner. G-Star prides itself on providing real world examples to their students and Mrs. Salustri has provided the perfect way to exemplify that.
