DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT!
On Sunday
February 23, 2014 G-Star Thespian Michael Burgos attended the English Speaking
Union's Annual Shakespeare Recitation Competition at The Beach Club in Palm
Beach. The English-Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition assists high
school teachers across the country with their Shakespeare and language arts
curriculum. Through the competition,
students are encouraged to develop their communication skills and an
appreciation of the power of language and literature. Michael won 1st runner up at competition. He
won $200 and a chance to competition at nationals in New York City. Let's give
Michael a round of applause!!
