9/4/13 – PBC Health
Department says G-Star is HEALTHY!
Our latest Palm Beach
County Health Department Inspection Report has been posted after an inspection
by the Health Inspector yesterday. Several times
per year the Health Inspector visits our school to make sure we are up to the
County and State health codes. They have
a rating system and the highest ranking is “Satisfactory”. We are happy to report to you the Inspector’s
report stated, “Results are Satisfactory.
No violations.” It’s nice to be in a healthy environment!
THANK YOU! We received an email recently from Lind
Coffin from the PBC Children’s Home Society.
She writes, “I wanted to tell the following students Thank You for
helping at Children’s Home Society this weekend. These students learned how to grout tile and
became very skilled at it! We so appreciated
their hard work, we really needed them.
The work is almost complete. I
hope they will come by and see what their hard labor achieved. SO A BIG THANK YOU TO: Shelly Martin, Shaun
Besman, Ben Beeler, and Austin Litt.
Do you shop at TARGET? Did you know they will give 1% of every
dollar you spend to G-Star if you use their TARGET REDcard? We just received a check for $221.35 from
them. The program at their stores is
called “Take Charge of Education.” You must tell them to donate your 1% to G-Star
School of the Arts in Palm Springs, Florida.
If you use your REDcard you also receive 5% off on all your purchases. It is a good program and we appreciate your
donation!
Don’t forget there is no
school Thursday, September 5th.
Friday, September 6th is an ODD day. If you are not sure if it is an ODD or EVEN
day, go to our web site (you are on it now), click on “Main Menu” and then
click on “Calendar”. You will find the
school’s event calendar. It lists the
ODD and EVEN days.
Have a Great Day!
