Announcements 9/15/15

 
Lunch:

Tuesday, Sept. 15th will be buffalo chicken tenders, grilled cheese sandwich, or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Choice of vegetable will be green peas or romaine salad.

Wednesday, Sept. 16th will be a jumbo cheese pizza bagel, chicken patty sandwich, or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Choice of vegetable will be seasoned black beans or romaine salad.

Thursday, Sept. 17th will be a mini twin bbq beef rib sandwich, chicken nuggets, or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Vegetable will be fresh baby carrots.

Friday, Sept 18th will be a chili cheese hot dog, buffalo chicken tenders, or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Choice of vegetable will be fresh green beans or romaine salad.

 
Come and join Creative Writing Club. Share your works, expand your stories and meet other writers. Meetings are held on Thursdays during the first half of lunch in Ms. Mohi’s classroom, J-102. The first meeting is Sept. 17th. Come and check it out!

Seniors. Want that special thing to really personalize your yearbook? Make sure to order an ad. There is limited space so make sure to order yours before there’s no more space. Prices range from $50 for a business card sized ad to $250 for a full page. Stop by Yearbook Headquarters in A-109 for more information.

G-Shorts Production Groups must have a team application submitted to Mr. McClory by Monday, Sept. 14th with a premise to be eligible to compete this year. Turn in your production team application on time to Mr. McClory, K-104.

The K-building equipment room is open for K-building productions required by class or for G-Shorts production teams. The equipment rental sheets are located by the equipment room door across from Mr. Tonnessen’s class, K-108.

Attention seniors! Prestige portraits will be here Sept. 16th and 17th to take your senior pictures. If you would like to take them in school, there will be a sign up sheet in the front office. Space is limited so sign up ASAP! Cost is only $20. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Weiss, Alison Liquori or Erika Pampiona.

Hello anime fans, Anime Club is back. Our first meeting will be on Sept. 15th during the first half of lunch in Mrs. Salustri’s room, J-107.

Attention students and faculty. Yearbook sales have officially started. The starting price is $50. Make sure to buy them early before the price rises on Oct. 24th. Order your book online or at Yearbook Headquarters, Mr. Weiss’ new room, A-109.

PSAT sign ups have begun! 10th graders are automatically registered. Any 11th grader can register in the testing office in J-202 so they can have an opportunity to be eligible for the National Merit Scholorship. The deadline is Oct. 2nd. PSAT test is on Wed, Oct. 14th.

Kona Ice will be back Tuesday. Bring your money for an icey treat! See you there.

Announcements 9/4/15
 
Parent Night is on September 10th from 6 to 8 pm. Your parents/guardians meet your teachers and follow your schedule. Paperwork will go home today 9/4/15.

Anyone interested in working backstage for One Acts that was unable to attend Wednesday’s interview process, may come during lunch on Friday 9/4/15 to H-102. You do not need to sign up or bring anything with you.
Freshman Class members needed! Several G-Shots Production Teams are in need of a freshman crew member. Sign up on the Call Board located in K building and you will be teamed up with a production team. See Mr. McClory in K-104 for more details.

Attention freshman class. There is an urgent meeting that’s mandatory for anyone who’s considering running for freshman rep. This important meeting will take place in J-102 during the first half of lunch on September 9th.  If you don’t show up, you can’t run for freshman representative. Official rules and guidelines will be discussed at the meeting.

Lunch Detention (ISS) will not be held today! If you received a letter to serve today, you will be serving it on Tuesday of next week. You will not be receiving a new letter, you must remember to attend.

There will be a Blood Drive on 9/8. You must have a blood drive pass to donate. If you are 16 years old you must have a signed permission slip or you will not be able to donate blood.
